I run various classes across Pembrokeshire based on positive training methods and many of these are in partnership with Positive K9 Training
Training your dog with positive reinforcement makes good behaviour much more likely, by using things our dogs enjoy such as treats! Training with rewards is all about teaching your dog that good things happen when they make a good choice. When your dog gets a reward, they will associate this with whatever they have just done, and will be more likely to do that same thing again next time.
Reward-based training is not only fun, but helps build a positive bond between dog and owner.
Puppy Classes
These classes will teach your puppy all the life skills they need so that they grow up as a confident, well-rounded and optimistic dog.
Costs are
:
£50 for the 4 week basic Programme.
£90 for the Puppy Plus Option. This gives you the basic Programme plus an additional 1-2-1 session which you can take any time up to 2 months after the classes or before they start.
£125 for the Puppy Gold Option. This gives you the basic Programme plus two additional 1-2-1 sessions which you can take any time up to 4 months after the classes or before they start
The classes follow the format of:
- Week 1 - Calmness and getting your dogs to focus on you
- Week 2 - Loose Lead Walking, Recall and Drop
- Week 3 - Loose Lead Walking, Recall (stage 2) and Leave
- Week 4 - Social skill meeting people and dogs
Improver Workshops
This is designed for those dogs who already have the basic training and who want to take it to the next level.
Costs are
:
£25 for the Workshop per dog.
